Description: CCTV, or China Central Television, is the state-run primary broadcast outlet in China. This video shows the construction of their new headquarters, shot in early November 2007. The complex is an architectural gem and is planned to be operational in time for the full-HD broadcast of the 2008 Olympics. Is this a monument for freedom of expression, freedom of speech and, most importantly freedom of the press? Not likely.
